Here we have a stunning opaline table bell, in white with an eye-catching cobalt blue rim. The design is likely French and dates from the 19th century (likely 1820s - 1840s), These examples are increasingly rare, especially in such fine condition. It has a white metal or silver mounted handle (Minerva hallmark (?) present but unclear - see last picture). Complete with clapper. Both the bell and mount are in excellent condition, though the mounting is a little loose. Please see the pictures. It has a diameter of 7.5cm and stands 13cm tall. This lovely bell would be very carefully wrapped and sent by Royal Mail, tracked and insured.
