This is a nice set of four vintage framed art pottery tiles (see photos). The tiles are very interesting and they were made by a talented artist. The tiles depict different forms of lighting, lamps, a menorah, lanterns and other vintage lighting. I would guess that it was for a lighting store and looks to me to date to be about 45 +/- years old. The tiles are made by the artist out of red terra cotta clay with a textured glazed and painted finish. The tiles are signed by the artist with initials (see photos). The tiles are framed in simple wooden picture frames (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The picture frames have scuffs and signs of wear (see photos). The tiles have a few minor chips and wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
