For sale is a really nice figure of a hairdresser scene made by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century or early 20th century after a Frankenthal original. Likely meant to be a depiction of the royal court hairdresser doing the hair of some important lady while another servant stands near by. The lady is sitting in a chair with her dog by her side, a table in front of her includes a mirror on top and some other items, a small bench behind her with a pot of coals (it looks like) and the hair dresser is standing on a ladder to be able to do the tall pointy hairstyle of the lady. another table with a hat on it in the back with a little bag on the nicely modelled base. Really one of my favorite blanc de chine pieces they made. The figurine is 8.25 inches tall, 6.75 inches wide and 5.75 inches dee.
