1950’s Moorcroft lidded trinket jar in the popular Tiger Lily / African Lily pattern. Measures approximately 13cm diameter x 11cm high. The body and lid are beautifully decorated in the classic vibrant colour glazes with the crackle effect. The lid is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. The base is marked “Moorcroft Made in England”. Unfortunately there is damage to the rim — a section approximately 6cm wide has nibbling missing from the top rim edge. The rest of the piece is in excellent condition. This would make a lovely display piece if positioned with the damage facing away, or a good candidate for professional restoration.
