Moorcroft first produced the Anemone pattern in 1938, designed by William Moorcroft. However, it wasn't produced on a large scale until his son, Walter Moorcroft, embraced it in 1945. Walter further refined and redrew the pattern in 1975, and it has since been reimagined by modern designers like Emma Bossons.
