This is a Moravian tile made by Moravian Pottery and Tile Works in Pennsylvania. These tiles were pioneered by Henry Chapman Mercer in favor of handmade items over machine made. This is a 4" square pierced forest green tile of a frog. It has a repair to the bottom as well as a few glazing misses and a couple chips. Please see all photos. It measures 4" square and .5" thick.
