This ashtray is circa 1950’s/1960’s and I believe is a Blenko B508 model ashtray though I have not had it authenticated. It is handblown, heavy and has a smoothed but visible pontil mark. The bubbles are controlled in the Bullicante style (characteristic of the period and of Blenko/Murano makers). This ashtray (or trinket tray/candy dish if you’d rather) is in a vibrant shade of blue and has a rounded, inverted top. It is a beautiful piece of art from the midcentury period and would be a wonderful addition to any art or glass art collection!
