Lot of 8 Discounted 2" Ceramic Word Tiles in Cobalt Blue Glaze by Gretchen Kramp. Selling this lot of tiles at half the usual price as they are made from a clay body I'm no longer using for my 2" tiles, and fired at a higher temperature than I am doing these days as well. Although it's normal to have some variation in handmade tile, these are quite different than my current line. These carved relief tiles are hand pressed in stoneware and glazed to emphasize their sculptural dimension. Each tile measures roughly 1 and 3/4 inches high by 1 and 3/4 inches wide and is about 5/8 of an inch thick at the edges. They are notched on the back so they can hang on nails.
