Round porcelain trinket box by Limousin Limoges, France. The lid features a hand-painted romantic courting scene with a gentleman playing guitar and a seated lady, set within a scalloped white panel bordered in gilt scrollwork. The body is finished in a deep blue glaze with gilt leaf detailing around the base. Interior is white glazed porcelain. Marked on the base with the Limousin Limoges France backstamp and green makers stamp. Approximate diameter 12cm.
