A frog rests on a lily pad floating in pond water. This tile is featured in a tile mural I was commissioned to make for the National Amphibian Conservation Center at the Detroit Zoo. This relief tile is hand pressed in stoneware and glazed to emphasize its sculptural dimension. Tile measures roughly 5 and 5/8 inches high by 5 and 5/8 inches wide and is about 5/8 of an inch thick at the edges to about an inch deep at its thickest point. It is notched on the back so it can hang on a nail.
