The delightful young lady is "Miss Dainty". She is hand painted so each cookie jar is a bit different. She is made from Japanese ceramic. She is wearing a pink dotted dress with a white collar and blue bow at the front. She has yellow and brown hair. Her hat is white with dark red plaid lines. The knob of the lid is a blue flower. The flowers on the off center front of the hat are pink and blue with green. There is a copyright symbol “Geo. Z Lefton - O40 A". This sweet cookie jar is approximately 7" tal;l x 7-1/2" wide at the hat x approximately 6-3/4" deep. This Lefton line is from the 1950s. She is in excellent condition with no chips.
