This vase is truly a unique piece of decorative glassware, a real talking point. The main body is a solid black colour with a vertical rippled texturing that could be described as ‘pumpkin like’, but most unusually it has a row off ‘fins’ in clear glass to one side. Any colours that can be seen in the photographs are reflections. There are no makers marks on the base and there is no indication of how old the vase is or where it was produced. It weighs 2.350kg and measures 20 cm tall by 10 cm deep by 25 cm wide.
