JUMBO SIZE ~ Vintage 60s EMPOLI Italy AMETHYST Purple GLASS Optic APOTHECARY Jar Great vintage Empoli Glass apothecary lidded bon bon candy jar - this one is a Jumbo size, see last photo to compare to standard size jar. Amethyst purple optic glass with a ruffled lip, flat base and a tall circus tent style lid with a amethyst finial. Jar measures 30cm height (including lid) x 15cm approx. diameter. In excellent vintage condition, no cracks or clouding. There are some some minor chips to inner rim of lid (I suspect these are from time of manufacture but tucked up inside lid rim and not visible - see photos) Local pick up is welcome from Clarinda, Victoria.
