This is one of the best pieces I’ve ever owned by the ceramic artist John wheeldon. I’m absolutely in love with the teapot in the middle, and truly is one of the pieces that I’m in two minds if should keep or sell !! In excellent condition. Biography ~ Fantastic early bowl by John wheeldon, B1950, This piece is a bit special. ????John was born in the Derbyshire Dales, the area where he still lives and has deep roots in that area; his family has lived here for generations. John has always been aware therefore, of the early industrial past that surrounds him, it being the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution.
