Jim Malone stoneware medieval type jug made between 2003-2023 at Lessenhall Pottery, Cumbria. In all probability this is from his last kiln firing in 2023. That doesn’t make it any more valuable just that it is ‘as new’. It bears the clear impressed mark for both the potter and Lessenhall pottery. The jug has a medallion shaped decoration on its front It has impressed decoration on the handle. The jug is without damage and has no chips, cracks or repairs. There is however two small holes near the base of the handle (either side) as photographed - which occurred during firing. It Measures 23.5cm in height and has a base diameter of 12cm weighs 1428 g
