This is a JA Bauer vase. According to a Google search, JA Bauer Pottery, Co., operated in Los Angeles from 1910 to 1962. Mom thinks she got it at a yard sale in the '80s. I remember many a bouquet of flowers it held on Mother's Day and Valentine's Day. It is 8 inches tall and is a glossy burgundy color. It has a tiny loss of glaze on the lip. I took a close-up photo of it. And it seems to have some glue residue on one of the sides near the top. I didn't want to pick at it or try turpentine. It almost looks like a sticker has been on it? The '90s grandchildren were in sticker heaven at Grandma's house, so very well could have had a sticker stuck on it at one time. I think it is beautiful! Thank you for looking at my ad!
