Gorgeous piece, and hard to find. Monumental design, the Schneider factory was one of the originators of this popular minimalist style weight in the post-war period, which was subsequently imitated by artists all over the globe. It dates to 1949-57. 4.5” diameter. Top of weight has some slight divers. Signed “Schneider France” on the base. Minor flea bites chip to the bottom rim. There is some surface scratching and scuffing. There is a foil label remnant on the edge. Sold as is!
