Made in about 1920/30s (Art Deco). Known as the 'Eastern Scroll' design. Hand painted in pink, green and black over a cream matte glazed ceramic base. Size: 12cm diameter (excluding handles) 9cm height (approx inc knob). Lovely condition. No cracks or chips. There is some crazing to base. Due to the hand painted nature, there maybe an odd smudge or line thicker than some - It all adds to its charm. Please see photos for colours, pattern and condition. Looks lovely stood alone or amongst other mid century pieces. Could be used as a sugar bowl or somewhere to store cottons.
