Herend, the Hungarian porcelain house founded in 1826, is known for hand-painted, kiln-fired pieces finished with 24k gold. The Apponyi, or Chinese Bouquet, pattern is a streamlined take on Herend’s earlier Indian Basket motif, created for Count Albert Apponyi around 1930.
