I’m selling two porcelain plates, made by the iconic Gwyn Hanssen Pigott OAM (1935-2013). Hanssen Pigott was recognized as one of Australia's most significant contemporary artists. By the time she died she was regarded as "one of the world's greatest contemporary potters". - from Wikipedia. The larger plate measures 173mm in diameter. It’s decorated with Pigott’s trademark blue herringbone pattern to the interior and to the base. It has a 5mm chip to the underside of its rim. The other plate has a diameter of 165mm. It has a 8mm chip to its rim. The undersides of both pieces are marked with Hanssen Pigott’s round mark. Australia wide postage $15.00.
