A very pretty lidded bowl by Ford & Sons of Burslem England, probably used for a dressing table but can easily be used on the dining table to hold sugar cubes etc. Made in the 1930s but more of a Victorian style piece in my opinion than Art Deco. Hand decorated pink and white roses set on a peachy cream back ground, normally called blush ivory. It’s trimmed and decorated in gold gilt. Condition is very good with no chips and little wear to the gilding or artwork. A pretty thing with lots of uses Many thanks for looking x
