Famous Adam Jablonski teardrop art glass paperweight from the 1970s. Polish sommerso sculpture in heavy clear crystal encasing a rich amethyst purple core, with controlled bubble detailing and hand etched “AJ” signature to the base. Adam Jabłoński operated his studio in Wólka Kosowska, Poland, and is known for pioneering the sommerso technique; his work has been exhibited at the Corning Museum of Glass and he has since retired.
