A vintage studio pottery bird sculpture by Ewa Mehl, dated 1989, with a hand-applied speckled glaze in soft cream, green and blush tones. The piece is signed and dated to the base by Mehl. The sculptural, rounded shape and subtle colour transitions are characteristic of her late 20th-century ceramics. Condition: There is minor glaze wear to the tip of the beak (clearly shown in photos). This is cosmetic only and does not detract from the overall display. A lovely collectible example of European studio pottery, ideal for collectors of decorative ceramics or animal forms.
