His feud with the British actor William Macready was the cause of the deadly Astor Place Riot of 1849. Janet Fox was born on June 12, 1912 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She was an actress, known for Suspense (1949), They Knew What They Wanted (1940) and Kraft Theatre (1947). She was married to Henry Goldsmith. She died on April 22, 2002 in Palm Beach, Florida, USA.
