Beautiful lamp base in the form of a Peruvian female figure with raised arms by Rosemary Wren of Oxshott Pottery, marked on the base. green, brown and cream coloured with raised pattern details on the clothing. This is one of several different figures that Rosemary Wren produced, all differing in pattern and the pose of the figure. Original brass lamp fitting at the top. 25 cms high including the light fitting, 12 cms wide at widest point of arms, and 10cms wide at the base. also 10cm diameter. there is a small kiln crack on the front of the skirt and one at the back on one of the bobbles at the top. Both are cracks that occured in firing, covered by glaze, and neither detracts from the object.
