It is possible therefore that the artist, AB Ferrier also trained as a contemporary at Glasgow School of Art or was influenced by their work. The white blanks often were imported from Czechoslovakia and this dish is marked for H&C Chodau Czechoslovakia, with this stamp dating to between 1918 and 1938.
