This listing is for a clear opalescent Manila toothpick holder. It is also known as Wreath & Shell. It was introduced in 1895 by the Model Flint Glass Company. The wavy scalloped rim is beautiful white opalescent glass which shows shades of blue or orange depending upon the light. The opalescence is heavy. The body features six arches with incised lines. Below these arches are three large shells with a wreath on either side. The toothpick sits on three feet with little curlicues on each one. This is a superb toothpick holder. It is in excellent condition. Measurements are 2 3/8"h and 2" w.
