This listing is for an elegant-looking clear glass Bead and Scroll toothpick holder which was introduced in 1901. The maker was unidentified for a long time but it is now attributed to the West Virginia works at National Glass. The rim has a wavy combination of scallops...three short and one taller in sequence around it. The main body is nice, clear glass with three vertical columns of beads which end at the highlight of the toothpick which is the beaded and scalloped base. The underside of the toothpick has a circle of 20 spokes. The toothpick measures 2 1/2" h and 2 1/4" w. It is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks.
