This piece is marked 141 on the underside. The finial on the top is of a man seated holding his ale. Extensive detail. The footed urn base displays frogs, snakes, worms, etc with different faces above and foliate and acorn design above the first motto translated as " whoever drinks more than necessary to the brute stands in peace".
