This is a very beautiful paperweight decoration for your desk or on a shelf at home. The globe has the continents and oceans etched on its surface and can be removed or rotated from the Crystal hand-shaped base. The base is expertly crafted and cut to enhance and reflect the light for a stunning effect. The base does have small chips off of two corners, but they do not detract in anyway from the piece. The globe also has a chink out of the backside, but it also does not detract.
