He developed his process to apply it to all kinds of substrates including porcelain, earthenware, fine earthenware, crystals, ivory, etc. He partnered with John Hurtford Stone and Athanase Marie Martin Coquerel, already associated with the Creil Fine Earthenware Manufacture.
