A beautifully detailed porcelain figurine of an 18th century flower seller, depicted in a crimson jacket with gold lace trim and a cream floral-sprigged skirt, carrying a lapful of roses in her gathered apron and a small jug in her other hand. She wears a wide-brimmed blue hat with flower trim. Raised on an ornate rococo scroll base with applied floral detail and gilt highlighting. The quality of the hand-painting and the elaborate base are characteristic of German or continental European porcelain in the Dresden/Meissen tradition. No visible maker’s mark.
