The wheatear is one of our less common British birds. It doesn’t get its name from perching on crops but it is a modern translation of its original country name of “white -arse”. The figure is elegantly posed on a floral branch with its soft blue plumage contrasting against brightly coloured flowers. Designed and modelled by J T Jones and produced in fine bone crown china in Staffordshire, England. No.20 in the birds series. No chips, cracks or crazing. Approx 6” tall and 5” wide.
