An interesting set of two studio glass bowls, both created using the same technique with one considerably larger than the other. I haven’t seen bowls like these before, nor can I find any, so I will describe them as best I can. The bowls have an inner core of beige and light browns form in a swirling striped pattern, and a spatter effect. The centre reminds me of a sunflower. The clear outer casings appear to have been hand applied in a coiled spiral, starting at the rim and terminating at the foot. The bases of the bowls are polished and concave.
