COALPORT FIGURINE For sale I have this handsome, very hard to find, The Rake figure by Coalport. In the catalogues i have there is no information known about who designed the figure and the issue date is only estimated to be round the mid 1970s. I do not have the box. The figurine is approx. 10 inches/25 cm high and is in very good, clean, bright condition with no cracks or notable damage. This figurine has the gentleman holding what is, presumably, a cigarette butt in his left hand. From the pictures i have seen, the butt in this example seems a little short and has a slightly rough feel to the end and so may have had a tiny piece nipped off the end. I can't be 100% sure as parts of this figure have the slightly rough satin matte type finish anyway. Other than that just the odd dimple/dot in the finish - see photo.
