This is a figurine from Coalport, designed and modelled by John Bromley, the most prolific of the Coalport sculptors. The interesting thing about this lady is that she is un-named on the base, instead given "G2". In actual fact it is 'Cheryl" produced 1984-1986 in white with gold detailing to the hem, neckline and hat. The official release was in Pale Blue and Dark and Pale Green under the name of 'Victoria - Style 2' issued in 1984. I have been unable to get the reason for this but surmise that this one was a sample of the colour scheme not selected for general release. This would make it a rare piece but maybe I'm being optimistic ! She is 7 3/4 inches tall (19.7cm) and is in great condition.
