Very interesting and unique piece. It appears to be religious themed. I'm unsure of it's intended use, but the head sits loosely on top and can be removed to show an exposed vase or container of some sort. Item is signed D. Burgess. Please see photos for all conditions. There is a crack on the under side of the head and also a bit of a chip on the nose. Both defects I believe were made during making.
