A Charlotte Rhead Bursley Ware 12" tube lined charger pattern TL2 in excellent undamaged unrestored condition. Made during Charlotte's second period with Wood and Sons after rejoining the company in 1941. The charger has been in our collection for 25-30 years and was displayed as a wall hanging hence the plastic coated wire attached using the hanging holes which is commonly found with most of Woods chargers. The Bernard Bumpus book comments that the pattern was illustrated in Woods Catalogue in 1954. The charger has the Bursley Ware mark with Charlotte Rhead, the pattern number TL2 is tube lined the decorators mark being three dots.
