The item for sale is a glass paperweight that was made in Scotland by Caithness during the late twentieth century. There is an etched signature on the bottom by the maker. The overall pattern is controlled bubble with a dome of pink glass toward the bottom center. The top of the dome is formed into flower petals with white glass decoration. The shape is nearly spherical though slightly elongated with a flat bottom. The condition of the paperweight is essentially pristine. There are no chips, cracks, scratches nor other types of damage. There is a trace of table wear on the bottom of the paperweight. The height is 2 3/4" The weight is 1 lb 8 oz.
