Finnish born Timo Sarpaneva (1926) was an influential sculptor, educator and designer who greatly contributed to Finlands reputation as the design hub of the world. This award-winning designer, who passed away in 2016, left his mark literally by designing Iittala's now instantly recognisable "i" logo.
