Charming antique Victorian square footed spill vase, heavily attributed to Sowerby (c. 1890). Features textured panels, classic fleur-de-lis motifs, and a beaded rim. Striking opaque black on display, but reveals a gorgeous deep purple/amethyst glow when held to direct light. Condition:Antiques piece with wear consistent with age. There is damage/chipping to some of the raised decorative beads on the top rim, and some expected roughness around the bottom of the feet. No other chips or cracks noted.
