For sale we have a blue pottery cat made in Italy, reminiscent of Bitossi. The decoration consists of a thick blue majolica glaze over a white body. It dates to the mid C20th and has an impressed mark and a painted 'ITALY' and three indistinct numbers in black as a backstamp. It measures 18cm high, 21cm long and 15cm wide. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or restoration. There are four shallow glaze chips to one paw, one to another and one on the tail. There is crazing.
