A beautiful Capo di Monte style quatrefoil sugar box and cover, likely by Doccia (now known as Richard Ginori and owned by Gucci). The lid has a large apple-shaped knop with leaf. In 1821, the original Capo di Monte porcelain factory in Naples closed and the Ginori factory of Doccia acquired their moulds and proceeded to make very similar pieces for the remainder of the 19th century.
