This is a beautiful porcelain lidded jar or powder box. It was made in Scotland by Cornadia and has their backstamp on the base. It is decorated with a Celtic knotwork design on the lid, in brown on off-white, which provides a striking contrast. In very good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approx 2" high and 4" in diameter.
