Up for sale is a stunning, authentic vintage Korean ceramic celadon vase/ginger jar, beautifully handcrafted in the historic Goryeo style. This piece features a classic jade-green crackle celadon glaze with a glossy finish. The elegant, squat globular body is divided into subtle paneled sections, each delicately decorated with hand-painted underglaze red and black floral stems. Around the collar of the mouth, it features a bold, darker green radiating petal border accented with white slip-inlaid dots. A very fine, traditional network of characteristic celadon "crackle" lines is visible beneath the glaze surface. The base of the vase features the hand-painted underglaze studio mark meaning "Sound of the Sea." There are no chips, cracks, or repairs.
