Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown opal white and gold flecks Italian art glass cornucopia flower vase. Documented to designer Archimede Seguso, circa 1950s, and published in his book. The vase still retains an original "Made In Italy" red scalloped label underneath. It has twisting body, with flared out rim. It is profusely covered in gold leaf throughout. Also sits on a scalloped base in the same technique and design, with 3 gold decorative pieces attaching the cornucopia to the base. Would make a great display piece on any dresser, credenza or console table. Fill it with flowers or showcase it as a sculptural piece in your home. Mid-century era. The vase measures is 11 3/4" tall x 5 3/4' long x 5 1/4" wide.
