A William Ridgway, Son & Co relief moulded jug in buff stoneware. Identifying Marks / Makers Marks: Marked on the base " Published by W Ridgway & Co Hanley October 1 1835". One side of the jug shows Tam drinking in the evening and a clock showing it is nearly midnight.
