A striking antique twin-handled amphora vase in rich brown and olive glaze, hand-painted with a large white dog rose and soft pink and yellow roses against a warm tonal ground. The neck and foot are decorated with moulded geometric borders — a lattice pattern to the neck and Greek key band below — with dark green loop handles. The glazed base shows crazing consistent with age and an impressed model number (7513). The overall style and quality are characteristic of late Victorian or Edwardian Continental art pottery, likely Austrian, Bohemian or German, c.1890–1910.
