Royal Doulton "Islamic Series Ware" plate, Persian Pattern. This beautiful 'Islamic" series was in circulation around 1902-1922. It is decorated with an overall Persian pattern of flowers, leaves, scrolls and geometric lines against a striking background. The under-glaze has strong tones of cobalt blue, dusty rose, yellow and green. The D3088 pattern was first created in 1909. Plate diameter is 27cm.
