One (or two!) for collectors of Royal Doulton. This stunning antique pair of Natural Foliage Ware stoneware jugs. Makers mark on both with unique serial number Actual leaves were pressed into the wet clay before firing to create realistic vein textures, then hand-painted with warm autumnal brown and green tones. Produced by the Royal Doulton Lambeth studio during the late 19th to early 20th century (C. 1901-1922). Historic repair and chips on both which reflects on the price but these are still collector pieces and displays beautifully. Each jug is unique, no two will be the same.
